Founders’ Park Dog Park to Open March 21

QC residents and their four-legged friends are invited to celebrate the opening of the Founders’ Park Dog Park on Saturday, March 21. The dog park will officially open following the ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. With more shade, more seating and separate entrances for large dogs and timid dogs, the new dog park incorporates feedback from the community.

The Founders’ Park Dog Park replaces Pocket Park for Pups, a temporary dog park that has served the community since 2014. Pocket Park for Pups will officially close at 10 p.m. on Friday, March 20. The future police headquarters will be located at the current site.

The new playground at Founders’ Park will also open on March 21.

Founders’ Park Dog Park will be open daily, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Learn more information about Queen Creek parks.
