The February 28 deadline for teachers to apply for the SRP Classroom Grants is quickly approaching.
SRP Classroom Grants are offered to K-12 teachers seeking to add additional resources to enrich learning in their classrooms. These grants support projects that enhance educational experiences, such as integrating new technologies, innovative teaching methods, and hands-on learning activities.
Two types of grants are available for teachers:
- STEM Grants provide up to $5,000 for school projects that incorporate innovative teaching strategies in mathematics and science.
- History and Social Science Grants provide up to $2,500 for the disciplines of history, geography, civics, government and economics.
For the 2024-2025 school year, SRP funded more than $190,000 for STEM and social science projects, including problem-solving through robotics, artificial intelligence, and hands-on physics experiments.
