QUEEN CREEK, AZ – The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce has hosted the Queen Creek Holiday Festival and Parade along with the Kiwanis Club of Queen Creek for the past 10 years. During that time attendance has nearly tripled with more than 15,000 people coming to the 2023 event. The festival featured carnival rides, craft and food vendors, children’s activities and of course a visit from Santa himself! The parade featured more than 70 local youth-based groups and businesses, and the event ended with a ceremonial Christmas tree lighting.
This year the event will be produced by the Town of Queen Creek and will be known as the Queen Creek Hometown Christmas. The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club of Queen Creek have truly enjoyed bringing this event to the community, but felt the time was right to transition the event to a new producer.
“I would like to thank all our sponsors, businesses and vendors, and community who have helped make this event a success. It has been an absolute pleasure hosting this event with the Kiwanis Club of Queen Creek. I’ve been involved with the event for the last 16 years, and I’m sad to no longer host it but I look forward to working with the Town as we transition and to Queen Creek Hometown Christmas!” said Chris Clark, President and CEO of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce
This transition will provide opportunities for the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club to work on bringing new programming and services to the community. Those wishing to participate or attend can find more information at Special Events | Queen Creek, AZ (queencreekaz.gov).
