Queen Creek Now Hiring Lifeguards for the New Aquatic Center

The Town of Queen Creek’s new Recreation & Aquatic Center will open on Saturday, March 29 and you could be one of the first Queen Creek lifeguards! The Aquatic Center will include a lazy river, play pool, competition pool with diving boards, water slides, spray pad and ramadas. These exciting amenities make it essential to have professional lifeguards on duty at all times!

Applicants must be at least 15 years old to be certified as a lifeguard with strong swimming skills including:
• Swim 50 yards front crawl or breaststroke
• Swim 50 yards with a lifeguard rescue tube under your arms
• Tread water for one minute without using your hands
• Retrieve a 10lb object from the deepest part of the pool (13 feet)

Applications are now being accepted, apply online to attend the Jan. 25 hiring event. Successful applicants will complete an in-house lifeguard class. The Town is certifying lifeguards through StarGuard Elite certifying standards. 

Swim lessons will be taught by Town of Queen Creek lifeguards who complete swim instructor training.
