Arizona Renaissance Festival is Open through March 29th
If you head to the Renaissance Festival this weekend, you may notice that the temperature is typically a few degrees cooler at the festival fairgrounds near the Superstition Mountains compared to the city’s heat island.
In response to the early heat in Arizona, the Renaissance Festival is installing three giant misting zones throughout the fairgrounds to help keep festival visitors cool and comfortable this weekend.
“The giant misting fan trailers may seem modern and out of place compared to the festival’s charming village, but it’s great to have several large areas that provide cooling relief during this early heat wave,” said festival marketing director, Sanja Malinovic. Hopefully, Don Quixote will not mistake the misting fans for windmills!
The 38th Annual Arizona Renaissance Festival is open Saturdays and Sundays NOW through March 29, 10 am to 6 pm. The festival is one of the most interactive entertainment experiences you’ll find, with amazing amusements and activities happening all around you!
