The Perch Breaks Ground in Downtown Queen Creek

QUEEN CREEK, AZ – The Perch broke ground on their new location in Downtown Queen Creek on Wednesday, September 3rd. They will be located on Munoz Street between Ellsworth Rd and Ellsworth Loop. In attendance were the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, the contracting team, owner of The Perch Rebecca and Ken Lavenue, Vice Mayor Leah Martineau, and Queen Creek Town Council Members Jeff Brown and Bryan McClure.

“On behalf of the Mayor and Council, we would like to welcome you to Queen Creek. This is a huge win for us, and it speaks volumes about the Town Council’s investment in the roadways. We are very excited to welcome them here,” said Jennifer Lindley, Downtown Development Manager for the Town of Queen Creek.

The Perch has two locations in the east valley, one in Downtown Chandler and one in Gilbert. They have craft beers, craft pub food, and a collection of exotic rescue birds. In addition to The Perch, this project will bring future retail/restaurant/entertainment shell buildings, totaling 28,000 square feet of space. “We want to thank the Mayor and the Town Council, and the staff; they have been great to help get this project facilitated,” said Ken Lavenue, owner of The Perch.

“We are so excited and appreciative of the investment by Rebecca and Ken Lavenue for The Perch. Jenn mentioned the road improvements we did and the different kind of lighting features to establish a sense of place. This is a true; if you build it they will come. There is such much going on in the Town of Queen Creek and we value our small business owners,” said Jeff Brown, Queen Creek Town Council Member
