The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Business & Education Summit on Thursday, August 27th from 7:30AM – 10:30AM at Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus. It brings together industry professionals, government, educators, and students to come up with ideas and possible solutions to prepare students for careers.

“We hear consistently that students are not ready to enter the workforce or prepared for post-secondary education. By partnering with industries, education, and students, we can work to solve problems locally, so our kids are ready for life after high school.” said Chris Clark, President & CEO of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce. “We have roundtable discussions to generate ideas and solutions that become the guidebook for our programming for the upcoming year.”

Last year’s Business & Education Summit brought together leaders from across the business and education communities to examine how stronger partnerships can better prepare the next generation workforce. Conversations centered on expanding accessible career exploration opportunities, removing obstacles that prevent collaboration between schools, families, and employers, and creating programs that help students see clear connections between their interests, education, and future careers.
