Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce to Host Bi-Annual Women in Business Conference

Business professionals from across the region will gather on Wednesday, November 4th for the bi-annual Women in Business Conference hosted by the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce and presented by Academy Bank. This half-day conference offers a morning of learning, connection, and fresh ideas, featuring keynote speaker Mari Tautimes, breakout sessions, and vendor and networking opportunities for local businesses.

“This Women in Business Conference is focused on something every business owner and professional encounters—what to do when things get hard. Mari’s keynote brings a practical perspective to those moments, giving attendees inspiration to keep going, tools to get unstuck, and a clear way to think through whether it’s time to push through, pivot, or walk away. Along with the keynote, the conference will give women an opportunity to learn from one another, make connections, and take away ideas they can put to use in their businesses and careers,” said Chris Clark, President & CEO of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce.

Her keynote, “Expect Hard. Suffering is Optional,” challenges the idea that difficult seasons have to derail us. By learning to expect that challenges are part of the journey rather than constantly resisting them, we can move through difficult moments with greater perspective, grace and gratitude—and make better decisions along the way.

Attendees will leave with practical tools and a renewed perspective to help them navigate the inevitable challenges of business and life, including:

  • The inspiration to keep going when things get difficult.
  • Practical strategies for getting unstuck when they aren’t sure what to do next.
  • A clear framework for deciding whether to push through, pivot or walk away when facing a difficult situation.

The keynote is designed to leave attendees with more than inspiration—it will give them a practical way to approach hard things when they inevitably come their way.

Tickets for the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Conference are $35 for Chamber members and $55 for non-members.
