Elections are held regularly in the summer and fall of even numbered years (July and November). The Mayor and Council are elected at-large to represent the residents of Queen Creek with staggered four-year terms
This year’s election(s) include:
- Primary Election (July 21, 2026 ) – to elect a Mayor and three Council Members.
- General Election (Nov. 3, 2026) – candidate runoff, if necessary.
Queen Creek elections are conducted by Maricopa and Pinal counties through an IGA.
Maricopa County Elections utilizes a vote center model, which allows eligible voters to visit any vote center within Maricopa and cast their ballot.
The following are located within Queen Creek:
- Communiversity (in-person voting with drop box)
- Queen Creek Unified School District (in-person voting with drop box, July 20 and 21)
- Queen Creek Library (in-person voting with drop box, July 21)

Pinal County Elections utilizes a precinct-based voting model. To find your polling location, please visit the Arizona Voter Information Portal provided by the Arizona Secretary of State.
It is too late to return ballots by mail; voters should return their ballot to an official ballot drop box by 7 p.m. on election day (in their respective county) or vote in person.
To participate in the election, residents must:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be an Arizona resident
- Be at least 18 years old on or before Election Day
- Be registered to vote by June 22, 2026
- Meet all voter eligibility requirements under Arizona law
