Town residents can help shape the future of Queen Creek by participating in the General Plan Update. Residents are invited to get creative and participate in a hands-on community workshop designed to gather input as part of the Queen Creek General Plan Update.
What is a General Plan?
The General Plan serves as the Town’s long-range guide for shaping its future over the next 10 years. It establishes a shared community vision supported by goals, policies, and actions that will inform decisions about the Town’s physical development, economic vitality and overall quality of life.
Participate in Our Community Workshop
The interactive workshop will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Queen Creek Recreation & Aquatic Center, 22343 E. Ryan Road. The presentation begins at 6:15 p.m.
This evening of ideas and collaboration welcomes residents of all ages to share their perspectives. Through a hands-on activity, community members will work together to identify priorities, share ideas and help guide how Queen Creek grows and evolves over the next decade.
Workshop Highlights:
- Learn about the General Plan Update process
- Connect directly with Town staff
- Share feedback and ideas in a collaborative environment
- Connect with fellow residents on the Town’s future
What if You Can’t Attend?
Residents can still share their ideas! If you are unable to join the in-person workshop, there will be several convenient ways to participate:
- Share your input online: Following the in-person workshop, you may visit the General Plan Update webpage to participate in virtual workshop activities through the end of June.
- Email feedback: You may also send your general thoughts or questions to the Town’s Planning Division (GeneralPlan@QueenCreekAZ.gov) at any time throughout the process.
- Stay informed: Follow Queen Creek on social media or sign up for email updates on the project website to be notified about future engagement opportunities.
