Queen Creek’s Family Swim Returns May 23

With water slides, a lazy river, zero-depth entry pool and more, Family Swim hours at the Queen Creek Aquatic Center will start on Saturday, May 23 at noon for Town of Queen Creek residents. A membership or day pass is required to use the facility, including the Recreation Center. The Queen Creek Recreation & Aquatic Center is located at 22343 E. Ryan Rd.

Membership & Day Pass Information

Residents must have an active CivicRec account to purchase a membership or day pass and verify residency within the Town limits. Residency verification can be completed in-person at the Queen Creek Recreation & Aquatic Center or the Queen Creek Library Recreation Annex (21802 S. Ellsworth Rd.). Two forms of approved documentation must be provided, a valid photo ID and one proof of residency (i.e. utility bill, tax documentation, etc. ).

If you already have a CivicRec account but haven’t verified residency in-person, save time by stopping by the Queen Creek Recreation & Aquatic Center or the Recreation Annex before May 23. Membership rates are available for individuals, families, seniors, youth, active military and veterans. Get more information on the Town’s website. Non-residents may purchase a day pass when accompanied by a Town of Queen Creek resident who has an active membership or day pass. Each resident may bring up to two non-resident guests.

Summer Family Swim Hours, Beginning May 23

  • Monday – Friday, noon – 5 p.m. 
  • Saturday, noon – 6 p.m.
  •  Sunday, noon – 4 p.m. 

Sunset Swim, 6 – 8 p.m. on select days

Enjoy Family Swim at the Queen Creek Aquatic Center during golden hour! During Sunset Swim hours all pool amenities are open and available for use including the lazy river, water slides and diving boards.

Plan Ahead! Things to Know Before Visiting the Aquatic Center 

  • No glass containers of any kind are allowed inside the pool enclosure. Aquatics staff will inspect all coolers.
  • Inner tubes for the lazy river will be provided by the Town of Queen Creek. Personal inner tubes, rafts or other flotation devices are not permitted.
  • Children 7 years old and under must remain within arm’s reach of a responsible guardian at all times
  • The water slides and high dive require guests to be at least 48 inches tall.
  • Outside food is allowed but must be consumed in designated areas only. No food or drinks are allowed in the pool.
  • Personal flotation devices must be U.S. Coast Guard-approved. These will be checked at the pool entrance.Proper swim attire is required.

Recreation Center Amenities & Hours

Recreation Center amenities include an indoor track, fitness area, indoor sports courts (basketball, volleyball and pickleball), a teen room, classrooms, Hangout HQ (an inclusive space for ages 9–12) and child watch. Child watch is included in memberships and day passes for no additional fee, a membership or day pass is required for both the child and guardian (guardians must remain onsite while using child watch).

Recreation Center hours:

  • Monday – Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Saturday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Membership and day passes do not include access to registration-based programs. Programs at the Recreation & Aquatic Center include a resident and non-resident rate.
